First announcement

EY Ireland, as the Irish member of EUROCONSTRUCT, is looking forward to welcoming you to the 96th EUROCONSTRUCT conference in Dublin in November.

The conference will present the latest medium-term macro-economic and construction market outturn for 2022, an estimate for 2023 and projections for 2024 and 2025, together with the first set of projections for 2026.

Special theme
Examination of the key issues relating to progress on the adoption of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and digital technologies and innovation across Europe.

This biannual conference offers exclusive access to the latest macroeconomic and construction projections for the European construction sector to 2026.

Modern Methods of Construction
An examination of progress relating to innovation and the adoption of digital technology across Europe. As economies experience expansion and labour markets come under pressure, the increasing demand for buildings and infrastructure is focusing minds on increasing efficiency and faster building methods. Declining on-site construction productivity is shifting many construction activities away from the construction site towards the adoption of prefabrication and modularised techniques in factory settings. By pursuing a strategy towards digitally enhanced manufacturing and the adoption of technological solutions, the construction challenges around speed of delivery, quality, viability and productivity can be overcome.

Key issues to be addressed at the conference will include:

  • How is the European construction industry transforming construction manufacturing processes? Which countries are leading the charge, and why?
  • What are the real benefits of industrialised construction and what indicators are being used to benchmark and track progress?
  • What are the implications for the construction supply chain and how does it respond?
What are the challenges faced by MMC developers and why is getting the financial model right for MMC manufacturing so important?
  • How do modern methods of construction and other solutions to boosting productivity enhance sustainability?

This is a must attend event, bringing together key players across the sector, providing essential industry information. This is a unique opportunity to network and exchange the latest views and insights on the sector and discuss the most up to date trends across Europe.
