About us

WHO WE ARE

EUROCONSTRUCT is an independent construction market forecasting network. It was established in 1974 by a number of specialised research institutes and consulting organisations as a study group for construction analysis and forecasting. It has since expanded from the core group to include almost all Western European countries and a number of Eastern European states. At present, EUROCONSTRUCT has member institutes in 19 European countries. Our mission as EUROCONSTRUCT is to provide, up-to-date, accurate and comparable forecasts on European construction markets. The strength of our network is the local expertise of our nineteen members, all from consulting and non-profit research institutes that specialise in construction. Our offering is unique in providing standardised medium-term construction forecasts which are updated twice a year to provide market intelligence and support to our clients and businesses operating in the construction market, supply chain and in the wider economies across our network.

MISSION STATEMENT

As EUROCONSTRUCT, our mission is to provide timely, accurate and comparable forecasts on European construction markets. The strength of our network lies in the local expertise of our nineteen members, all of whom are consulting and non-profit research institutes specialising in construction.

The bi-annual EUROCONSTRUCT conferences are a main element of our business strategy. Our events focus on three priorities: (1) key speakers who point out recent market trends, (2) unique networking opportunities at special pre-conference events and (3) strong documentation – every delegate receives the EUROCONSTRUCT Summary Report. The conferences also support our continuous efforts to improve our forecasts and the ongoing work on a harmonised pan-European construction data set.
