95th EC-Conference - Terms of Service


General information

The conference will be held as on-site event in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The event is organised by the Dutch EUROCONSTRUCT member EIB (Economisch Instituut voor de Bouw) which is solely responsible for the event.

Registration and payment options

Clients can register for the 95th EUROCONSTRUCT-Conference on euroconstruct.org. After completing registration, you will receive an automatic email that includes the registration information. The payment offered is by invoice/bank transfer only which will be sent in a timely manner.
Please note: Your registration is accepted once we received the payment.

Cancellation policy

Clients who have purchased a subscription to the 95th EUROCONSTRUCT-Conference may cancel their booking, on the condition that: 

  • They do so in writing to Vera Uunk (vuunk@eib.nl) at least 30 days prior to the event (until 10 May 2023) and will get a refund of 50% of the conference fee.
  • The full conference fee will be charged for any cancellations received after this date.

If you are unable to participate on the conference day due to unforeseen circumstances, you are welcome to name a substitute. Please inform us in advance of any changes – at least one day ahead of the conference.

Information according to FAGG (Distance and Offshore Business Act)

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel and return your order for any reason and without a justification, within 14 days of receiving the purchase. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement (for example by e-mail) of your decision to withdraw. For this purpose, please use the following contact details: vuunk@eib.nl

In order to comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of withdrawal before the expiry of the cancellation period. Consumers have the option of submitting complaints to the EU’s online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/odr. You can also submit your complaint directly to us vuunk@eib.nl. The data collected will be deleted as soon as they have fulfilled the purpose of organising the event and documentation or fulfilment of the legal obligations to maintain the records.

Information according to Art 13 GDPR
We will use your invoice data to create an invoice that complies with the legal requirements and you have the right to information and deletion. The information marked with an Asterix (*) is mandatory. If you do not provide us with this information, we cannot process your order. Personal data is stored on Jotform servers in Germany for hosting the 95th EUROCONSTRUCT-Conference. They can be accessed by the conference organiser EIB and WIFO (hosting euro-construct.org) and the data is stored within the time frame of legal requirements. Data fields not marked with an * are voluntary. Do not provide payment information – invoices will be sent separately.

 

Privacy and liability

EIB Institute and WIFO (hosting euroconstruct.org) will only collect the necessary data needed for hosting the event.

Privacy policy EIB

1. Use of personal data
By using the website eib.nl you leave certain data with us. This may include personal data. We store and use only the personal data that is provided directly by you, in the context of the service you have requested, or which, when provided, it is clear that it is provided to us for processing.

6. Websites of third parties
This privacy and cookie statement does not apply to third party websites connected to this website through links, such as the surveys. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of these websites before using them.

7. Cookies
We use cookies on this website. A cookie is a simple small file sent with pages from this website and stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. The information stored therein can be sent back to our servers during your next visit.

Through our website a cookie is placed by the U.S. company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or insofar as third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this.

The EIB has concluded a processor agreement with Google. This includes an agreement that Google may not share the data obtained. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services. The information collected by Google is processed anonymously. Your IP address is expressly not provided. After 26 months, the collected data is automatically deleted by Google.

To make it possible for you to share the information on our website through various social media channels, we use cookies for LinkedIn and Twitter.
