EY Economic Advisory Services was formed in January 2018 following the acquisition of DKM Economic Consultants by EY Ireland. DKM, one of the leading economic consultancies in Ireland, was founded in 1981, had built up an unparalleled knowledge of and expertise in housing, construction and economic policy analysis over three and a half decades. The acquisition provided the opportunity to build truly unique solutions for clients across our service offerings. The combined service, EY Economic Advisory, provides a full suite of economic, financial and business services in the Irish market, helping both public and private sector clients understand the current and future environments they operate in, and enabling vitally important scenario planning and decision-making. Our expanded team consists of highly qualified economists from a range of universities, including PhDs from York University and Trinity College Dublin and our Chief Economist is a visiting professor of economic policy at Ulster University.

The economics team plays a critical role in EY’s commitment to building a better working world in Ireland and gives us the experience to contribute insights and solutions to some of the most challenging issues we face. EY Economic Advisory works alongside EY’s global community of more than 180 economic advisory professionals.

Our combined experience and in-depth knowledge of the Irish economy together with our strong technical capability in a range of areas allow us to help both public and private sector clients.
